Based on exact specifications from Boeing Commercial Airplanes -- a Lego exclusive -- the airplane is scaled to the perfect dimensions with authentic colors and details to make it look just like the real thing. The overall length is 26 inches; the wingspan is 27 inches. This Lego kit is recommended for ages 10 and up.

He had more fun putting it together than any other gift I've seen him received. He loved the realistic details. It is very well crafted and has a sturdy display stand for such a large item. I haven't had any problems with it falling apart that weren't my fault. I'd just say to make sure and check up on the stand every once in a while to make sure that no pieces have popped out or anything. Although I was anticipating it to be huge, it was still bigger than I expected, and looked extremely realistic. It was so much fun to build (I couldn't stop), and it wasn't repetitive or monotonous. Overall, I'd say that nearly everything (the wings are a little bit droopy) is perfect about this model, and I would strongly suggest it. The stand is nice, but I'd like the option of displaying on it's gear. The engines are good, but could be alot better. But, it's just plane awesome to see it finished. I still give it 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. |
